Wusakile Community Outreach: an open community initiative providing feeding and back-to-school education support.
The Wusakile Community Outreach is an open community initiative rather than a school-based project.
Lusean Child's Trust Foundation collected beneficiary information directly from within the Wusakile community to identify children and families requiring support, then organised a Back-to-School Community Outreach Event to provide practical assistance.
Working in the community itself allows the Foundation to reach children who may not be captured through a single school, supporting back-to-school readiness where families live.
